Involuntary Hiatus

Poor Walter. His mama has been in the thick of school and unable to recreate. He is feeling pretty bummed out. I have had a lot on my plate the last few weeks and it is not going to get much better. I have one oral exam this next week and then another the following week in addition to the completion of a pretty big research project and a couple of rather silly projects. And then there are the regular exams I have to deal with. But we are dreaming, we are thinking. We are fantasizing about where we really want to be and what we really want to be doing. We want to be snuggled up in our tent reading the newest Harry Potter book with the sound of the water lulling us to sleep. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, though. Soon I will be done with school, I will have a good job, and Walter will be sleeping on a real dog bed and not left-over cushions from a couch I had five years ago. We will have a decent car that can get us to cool trail heads and money to pay for gas (but I will still purchase trail snacks from the dollar store...it is the only way to go). So hang on, we will be back soon with more adventures!!!!
